Every cake is two tiered and serves 12. Choose your flavour, tell me about the occasion, and I bake it to order for your date.

  • Black Doris Plum & Mānuka Honey

    Delicious Hawkes Bay Doris plums provide a wonderful balance of acid and sweet and paired with Mānuka honey.

Fresh ingredients, freeze-dried fruits and powders, edible flowers and premium sugar elements.

Our story

Baked in Greytown, for the Wairarapa.

Isla Bella began with a love of baking and really good food.

Every cake is baked to order in Greytown, a small town in the Wairarapa, using premium, local ingredients and nothing artificial. Fruit, berries, honey, olive oil and vanilla do the work, and each cake is finished by hand.

The Wairarapa has a vibrant culture of homegrown, artisan food. Isla Bella is my way of adding a cake to that table. Properly delicious, rich and made with care, for the people who love authentic, who love delicious, and who love cake.

How much notice do you need?

At least five days for every cake. If your date is closer than that, send a message anyway and I'll tell you if I can fit it in.

How big is a cake?

Every cake is two tiers and serves 12. They're all $95.

Do you deliver?

Yes, on weekday mornings to Greytown, Carterton and Masterton. You can also arrange to pick up from Greytown any time.

What's in the cakes?

The base is vanilla pod, ground almond and white flour, all butter, made with fresh ingredients and no artificial colours or flavours. They're decorated with fresh ingredients, freeze-dried fruits and powders, edible flowers and premium sugar elements.

Can you make a gluten free cake?

Yes. Lemon & Raspberries and Black Doris Plum & Mānuka Honey can both be made gluten free on request. Just add it to the notes when you order.

What about allergies?

Every cake contains almond, and wheat unless you ask for a gluten free version. Please put any allergies in the notes when you order so I can talk them through with you.

How do I pay?

Once I've confirmed your order, I'll send you the payment details.

Can I ask for a particular look?

Yes. Tell me the occasion and any colours or flowers you love in the notes, and I'll come back to you.
